Terms of Service

PodCut is a podcast repurposing service operated by Eastbase Studio(“we”, “us”, or “PodCut”). You can reach us at support@eastbase.studio.

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and us. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use PodCut. They work alongside our Privacy Policy and Refund & Cancellation Policy.

You upload podcast audio or video, or connect an RSS feed, and PodCut turns each episode into ready-to-use assets. Depending on your plan, that can include: speaker-labeled transcripts, selected clips, captioned vertical videos, highlight reels, newsletters, LinkedIn posts, X/Twitter threads, show notes, chapter markers, YouTube descriptions, pull-quote graphics, brand-styled visuals, client review links, guest promo kits, and white-label share pages. You can also search and ask questions across your transcript archive.

PodCut is a production tool, not a publishing platform. We generate and render the assets; deciding what to publish, and where, is yours. We do not post to social networks or send newsletters on your behalf.

You must provide accurate account information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) to use PodCut.

Data, billing, and access in PodCut belong to a workspace, not an individual user. Workspace owners and admins can invite members and assign roles (owner, admin, editor, viewer). If you invite others, you are responsible for their use of the workspace and for having the authority to add them.

You keep ownership of everything you upload and everything PodCut generates for you — your audio, video, transcripts, clips, graphics, and copy. We claim no ownership of your content or your outputs, and we do not use your content to train PodCut’s own AI models (see our Privacy Policy for how content is processed).

You grant us a limited licence to store, process, and transform your content only as needed to operate the service and produce your outputs — including sending it to the processors listed in the Privacy Policy.

You must hold all rights, licences, permissions, releases, and consents needed to upload, process, edit, clip, caption, transform, publish, and share your content through PodCut. This includes, where relevant:

• podcast audio and video;
• music, sound effects, and background tracks;
• artwork, logos, and brand assets;
• guest appearances and speaker voices;
• client materials you process on their behalf; and
• any other third-party content included in an episode.

Guest, speaker, and client consent.You are responsible for obtaining any guest, speaker, employee, client, or participant permissions required before uploading or repurposing a recording — including consent to clip, caption, quote, and share what they said. You must not upload content that infringes others’ rights or breaks the law.

You may connect or import only RSS feeds and episodes that you own, operate, or are otherwise authorised to process. You are responsible for confirming you have that authority before importing.

You may not use PodCut to copy, repurpose, redistribute, or monetise third-party podcasts you do not control or have permission to use. We may remove imported content and suspend feeds where we reasonably believe this rule has been broken.

PodCut can produce transcripts, clips, captions, written posts, graphics, summaries, and metadata using automated and AI systems. These outputs can contain mistakes — for example misheard words, wrong names, inaccurate captions, missing context, or claims that need checking. PodCut is an assistant, not an editor.

You are responsible for reviewing and approving every output before you publish it. We make no warranty that generated content is accurate, complete, or fit for a particular use.

What you publish, and where, is your decision and your responsibility. PodCut is not responsible for, and gives no guarantee about:

• platform takedowns, strikes, or content removals;
• copyright or other intellectual-property claims;
• music or other licensing issues;
• guest disputes or client-approval disputes;
• account suspensions or bans on third-party platforms;
• lost reach, lost revenue, or the performance of published content.

Each platform you publish to has its own rules; complying with them is up to you.

Review links, guest promo links, and white-label share pages are unlisted and revocable by default. They are not indexed by search engines unless you choose to make them public, but anyone who has the link can open it until you revoke it. Share what you create thoughtfully.

If you make a page public or indexable, it may be cached, copied, screenshotted, embedded, or indexed by third parties outside our control. Revoking a link stops new access through PodCut, but we cannot recall copies others have already made.

You agree not to:

• Upload content you don’t have the rights to, or that is unlawful, infringing, or harmful.
• Attempt to break, overload, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorised access to the service or other workspaces.
• Resell or sublicense access to PodCut except as expressly allowed by your plan (for example, agencies serving their own clients).
• Use the service to generate content that is deceptive, defamatory, or otherwise abusive.

We may suspend or remove access that we reasonably believe violates these Terms.

PodCut is sold as a monthly subscription across flat tiers, each with a monthly cap on hours of audio processed and a number of seats. Current pricing is shown on the pricing section.

Paid plans start with a 14-day free trial. A payment method is required to begin the trial; if you don’t cancel before it ends, your plan begins and the card is charged.

Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, our Merchant of Record, who handles checkout, billing, and applicable sales tax/VAT. Your purchase may also be subject to Lemon Squeezy’s buyer terms shown at checkout. Cancellation, plan changes, and refunds are covered in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

We work to keep PodCutavailable and reliable, but we provide it “as is” and don’t guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Current service status is published at www.getpodcut.com/status.

We may add, change, or remove features over time. If a change materially reduces what your plan provides, we’ll give reasonable notice where we can.

You can stop using PodCut at any time by cancelling your subscription and, if you wish, deleting your account. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these Terms or use the service in a way that creates risk for us or other users.

On termination, your right to use the service ends. You can export your outputs before cancelling; after an account is deleted, associated data is removed in line with our Privacy Policy.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PodCut is provided without warranties of any kind, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or content, arising from your use of the service. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under mandatory consumer law in your jurisdiction.

We may update these Terms as the product and our legal obligations change. When we do, we’ll update the date at the top of this page and, for material changes, give notice in-app or by email. Continuing to use PodCut after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. You and PodCut agree to resolve any dispute in the courts of Vietnam, except where mandatory law in your country of residence gives you the right to bring proceedings elsewhere.
