Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last updated July 10, 2026
Flat monthly pricing, a real free trial, and cancellation that doesn’t fight you. Here’s exactly how trials, plan changes, cancellation, and refunds work.
How billing works
PodCut is a monthly subscription. Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, our Merchant of Record — they handle checkout, recurring billing, applicable sales tax/VAT, receipts, and the customer portal you use to manage your subscription. Your purchase may also be subject to Lemon Squeezy’s buyer terms shown at checkout.
You can open the billing portal any time from Billing inside the app.
Free trial
Paid plans start with a 14-day free trial. A payment method is required to begin, but you are not charged during the trial. If you cancel before the trial ends, you won’t be charged. If you don’t cancel, your subscription begins automatically and your card is charged for the first month when the trial ends.
Cancelling
You can cancel at any time from the billing portal. When you cancel:
- You can view and export existing work until the end of the period you’ve already paid for. New uploads, edits, generations, and renders stop as soon as you cancel.
- You are not billed again after that.
- We don’t send retention emails or make you jump through hoops.
Cancelling stops future charges; it doesn’t by itself refund the current period (see below).
Changing plans
Plan changes are handled fairly based on direction:
- Upgradestake effect immediately, and you’re charged the prorated difference for the rest of the current period — so you get the higher caps right away.
- Downgradestake effect at the end of your current period. You keep the higher plan’s caps until then, with no mid-cycle refund for the difference.
- Switching plans during a free trial swaps your plan immediately with no charge.
Refunds
Because subscriptions are billed in advance and you can cancel any time to stop future charges, we generally do not provide refunds for the current or past billing periods.
That said, we want you treated fairly. We offer a 14-day good-faith review window: if you were charged in error, or something went genuinely wrong, email us at support@eastbase.studio within 14 days of the charge and we’ll review it case by case. Approved refunds are issued through Lemon Squeezy to your original payment method, typically within 5–10 business days.
To set expectations, we generally do not refund:
- partial or unused portions of a billing month;
- unused audio hours, seats, or renders;
- unused share links or exports;
- content you chose not to publish.
Nothing here limits any non-waivable refund or cancellation rights you have under consumer law where you live.
